My relocation story
In 2022 my sweet husband was accepted into Campbell University’s medical program. I was thrilled for him, and it meant our whole lives would change, quickly.
We had to say “see you soon” to our family and closest friends. After four and a half years, I closed the door on a business I deeply loved. Looking back, I don’t know if I was ready. But ready or not, together, we took a leap of faith.
Since moving to North Carolina, we’ve lived in four counties in four years. It’s been a wild ride, and a worthwhile one.
What it taught me
Our adventures, experiences and challenges have hugely shaped the way I consult and guide my clients today.
I know what it’s like to choose a place you’ve barely visited.
I know how much a commute, a neighborhood’s feel, or a first friend in town can change how a move feels.
I know that uprooting your life is hard, planting new roots is hard, and building the life you’ve always dreamed of is worth every second of it.
